Advanced Manufacturing Camp
Building tomorrow’s workforce
Each summer, ITAC and its industry partners sponsor an Advanced Manufacturing Camp to educate local high school students about careers in manufacturing. The goal of this camp is to expose high school students and their parents to these career paths that are in extremely high demand in our communities. Thanks to our sponsors and cooperation with local schools, this camp is completely free to students.
During the camp, students gain hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and technologies and receive valuable insight and advice from industry professionals. Students work in teams to create a business model to manufacture and sell their product. On the final day of camp, students put their acquired knowledge and skills to the test and compete to win a $500 scholarship to the post-secondary provider of their choice.
