Alan Gaskill
Alan Gaskill | Director, Construction Management
Alan Gaskill brings over four decades of industrial construction experience to ITAC. He began his career as a field engineer for a self-perform contractor and progressed through estimating, procurement, project controls, and onsite project management. As site manager he has been responsible for design-build projects up to $150 million.
In his current role as ITAC’s Director of Construction Management, Alan oversees all construction managers employed by the company, ranging from those assigned to act as owner’s agents to site CMs assigned to ITAC design-build projects responsible for overseeing tens of millions of dollars of ITAC’s “at risk” subcontracts. His extensive experience in both the self-perform and design-build sectors provides him with a unique perspective to approach challenging retrofit and Greenfield projects from the viewpoints of owner, designer, GC, and subcontractor to achieve successful projects.
Alan enjoys playing drums, watching college football, Cajun cooking, and gardening along with spending time with his wife and sons in the upstate of South Carolina.
I love the challenge of taking complicated projects and breaking them down into manageable components and assembling a team to execute. I believe that’s it my obligation to pass on the knowledge that I’ve gained from numerous mentors over my career to those starting out in the field of construction.
