Brenda Clarke, PE

SR. DIRECTOR, ENGINEERING | ASSOCIATE

Brenda Clarke leads ITAC’s Engineering organization across all offices, as well as the company’s Onsite Services operating unit. With a strong focus on developing the next generation of engineers and designers, she oversees the application of ITAC’s APM® work practices to deliver high‑quality, consistent project results for clients. Brenda is forward‑looking and committed to identifying opportunities for engineering teams to work more efficiently, leverage technology effectively, and communicate clearly across disciplines and project teams.

After earning her degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Brenda began her career in a variety of technical and operational roles, including automotive manufacturing engineer at The Gates Corporation, process engineer at Qimonda, and technical writing consultant for International Consulting Services. This diverse background informs her practical, systems‑oriented leadership approach.

Since joining ITAC in 2010, Brenda’s leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to quality engineering have resulted in multiple promotions. Her career progression includes roles as Process Engineer, Manager of ITAC’s Mechanical & Process Engineering department, and several Director‑level positions spanning Engineering, Projects, and Engineering Operations, culminating in her current role as Senior Director of Engineering. She is widely regarded as a trusted resource by both clients and employees.

Brenda also serves as Chair Emeritus and Advisor to the Virginia Chapter of Women in Manufacturing, supporting professional growth and leadership development within the industry. Outside of work, she considers raising her two daughters with her husband to be her greatest accomplishment.
