Denny McDermott, PE, PMP

VP, PROJECT DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING | PRINCIPAL

Denny is an engineering graduate from the University of Maryland with 35 years of experience serving the heavy industrial and power industries. He is a licensed professional engineer who has earned his MBA and maintains his PMP certification.

Denny’s first ten years were spent in the nuclear power and nuclear weapons/materials businesses, focused on large engineering projects and management methods in these highly regulated and disciplined industries. He then moved into chemical plant engineering and business leadership roles where he supported some of the larger and more complex chemical facilities on the East Coast. In these assignments, he learned how to build high quality, high speed and competitively priced engineering teams for sophisticated manufacturing projects.

Joining ITAC’s business development team in 2009, Denny leveraged his management experience and relationships to assist the company in expanding its client base and project opportunities. He has served in several leadership roles since then, and currently serves as Vice President of Project Development & Marketing. As both an engineer and constructor, Denny’s goal is to bring together ITAC’s engineering and construction skillsets and grow the company’s Design-Build and EPC portfolio.
