George Crocker, Jr.

George Crocker, Jr. is a Certified Senior Professional with more than 25 years of experience in Supply Chain and Contracts Administration Management. Joining ITAC in 2016, George is the Director of Procurement and Contracts and is responsible for all aspects of procuring goods and/or services throughout Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He specializes in developing and implementing strategies for risk management, increased operational efficiencies, loss prevention and sustainability.
George began his career in the United States Air Force, where he received formal education and training as a Freight Traffic Specialist. Prior to serving at ITAC, George was the US Procurement Manager at Iluka Resources, Incorporated, the number two mineral sands supplier in the world. George earned both his Senior Professional in Supply Management (SPSM) Certification and his Purchasing & Supply Chain Management Certification from St. Joseph’s University. He is recognized by the American Management Association (AMA) for outstanding completion of various procurement management certification courses.
When George is not managing the company’s procurement operations and contracts, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 26 years and two children. Dedicated on and off the court, George has worked Men’s College Division 1 Basketball over the last 15+ years and has had the distinct pleasure of serving as the Commissioner of Elite Basketball Officials of Virginia, which provides basketball officiating services for AAU sports programs, various high school organizations and speaking engagements at inner city youth camps.
