John Moody, PE

VP, DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT EXECUTION & SERVICES | PRINCIPAL

With over thirty years of industrial experience, John Moody has spent 31 years of his career at ITAC. His first position was on the engineering team where he developed his skills in design build project execution.  John’s knack for developing processes and his attention to detail promoted him to a leadership position within the engineering and project management groups. His drive to deliver project excellence and a quality engineering product led to a substantial increase in the engineering team’s revenue.  As the company’s focus on delivering projects utilizing the design-build project delivery methodology increased, John moved to the role of VP of Design-Build Project Execution and Services. With the Procurement, Project Controls, Project Accounting, and Information Technology departments under his direction, John leads a team that is well-suited to support large design-build projects. With his continued passion for developing detailed project process, John is responsible for developing detailed processes and the company’s project management methodology, APM® (Assured Project Management).

His passion for project management and processes motivates him to constantly improve APM® and to discover how to more effectively and efficiently manage projects. John is naturally risk adverse and, in his current role, is a perfect fit for addressing and leading ITAC in its Assume Nothing Execution Plan (ANEP) and risk management approach.

John also ensures the company is on the cutting edge of IT technology and client data security. He believes that utilizing the newest technology in software and hardware to improve project efficiency is crucial to exceeding our clients’ expectations for project performance and data security.

As ITAC continues to grow, John realizes the need for the company to nurture and develop future leaders on the engineering and project management teams. He considers training and mentoring personnel a significant and critical part of his job, as ITAC strives to be the leading design-build firm for projects to $100 million.
