John joined ITAC in 2024 as the Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs, where he guides the company’s risk management and legal processes. Before joining ITAC, John served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a financial services technology firm in Tidewater, Virginia. A licensed Virginia attorney, John has dedicated his career to serving business clients across multiple legal disciplines, including risk mitigation, insurance, contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. 

Guided by the principles of servant leadership, John is committed to fostering collaboration, empowering teams, and providing legal solutions that serve the broader goals of the company while delivering results. Putting people and families first is an ITAC founding principle, and one that John embraces both at ITAC and in his personal life. 

When not at his desk, you can find John on his tractor at his small family farm in Chesapeake, where he lives with his wife, son, and a slew of animals. He also enjoys helping coach his son’s baseball team.
