Jon Loftis
PRESIDENT/CEO | PRINCIPAL
Jon Loftis grew up on his family’s cattle farm and in his dad’s manufacturing shop. On the walls of this shop, Jon always admired the patents his father had earned during his career and learned to love designing and building things. It was the process that Jon loved — the planning, the studying and all the decisions required to manage a successful project. He quickly learned that this requires a strong team working together and that every member is critical.
Jon moved to Richmond, VA to begin his career with Allied Signal after earning his BS in mechanical engineering from Auburn University. He served as a project engineer in research and development for Allied Signal. Every project required rapid turnaround from conceptual design to commissioning of world class processes and equipment. In 1989, Jon joined ITAC to manage the mechanical design department. Utilizing the technical and leadership skills he learned leading fast track R&D projects for new process and product development, Jon was tasked to build a project management team and methodology (now called Assured Project Management) for ITAC’s growing business. Today, APM® plays a critical role in delivering a focused and disciplined approach to every job.
Jon now serves as ITAC’s CEO and President, overseeing its vertically integrated project services and business operations. His focus is on creating a winning experience for our clients and employees. Our greatest desire is to be a trusted partner to our clients and to earn their trust every day. With an open-door policy, Jon sets the tone for a collaborative culture of servant leadership and growth. ITAC is a full service design-build firm for the industrial market. With 550+ employees serving our clients, the company, and the communities where we work and live, we aim to make life better for all that we touch. We can do that by building great projects, making a fair profit and sharing it with those needing a hand up. Committed to generosity in his community, Jon serves on several boards and is a deacon at Ironbridge Church. Faith, family, and relationships drive his life and decision making.
I believe that my greatest role is to lead our team to create great experiences for our employees and our clients. Success is assured through the relationships and trust built with every team member, on every project.
