Justin Armstead

DIRECTOR, CUSTOM MACHINERY | ASSOCIATE

Justin’s passion for building machines and fabrication started at a young age. When not in school, he was with his dad welding and working on cars. His curiosity launched him into a career after graduating from West End Christian School. During this time, he gained building experience working in the residential sector, from laying foundations to building beach houses. After 10 years, he decided to pursue a new challenge and brought his skills to the industrial sector.

For the past 11 years, Justin has been with ITAC serving in a multitude of roles gaining knowledge and experience in all the facets of an engineering and construction company. He most enjoyed the Kaiser Tube Stacker design-build project, which was the first large scale machine build after he joined the shop. Currently as Division Director for the Custom Machinery group, Justin handles all fabrication, design reviews, estimating, project management, machine concepts, and detailed design. He enjoys that in his role he gets to work with every division within ITAC, communicating effectively with all trades to mitigate risk and ensure both internal and external satisfied clients. Justin believes that being honest, trustworthy, and results- driven will continue to make Raving Fans.

Outside of ITAC, Justin enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his son.
