Keith Godsey

DIRECTOR, SELF-PERFORM CONSTRUCTION | ASSOCIATE

From the age of ten, Keith knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and become an electrician. Excited to begin his career, he started working for his father’s company the day after he graduated high school. Keith’s father later advised him to pursue an electrical career in the industrial market to advance his skills and growth. After three years at his father’s firm, he left his comfort zone in residential and commercial markets and started working as a four-year apprentice in industrial environments. Within four years of finishing his apprenticeship, he was promoted to foreman, and over the next thirteen years, he worked his way to superintendent.

Keith came to ITAC in 2007 as a superintendent and was promoted to project manager within only three short months. After three years of project management, Keith was promoted to electrical division manager where he spent the next eight years developing ITAC’s electrical construction business into one of the region’s largest electrical contractors. Keith has been instrumental in helping ITAC develop its Assume Nothing Execution Plan, a detailed project management approach that assures client success. Due to his unfailing work ethic and impressive track record at the company, Keith was again promoted to Director of Self-Perform Construction in August of 2018 where he oversees ITAC’s electrical and mechanical construction business.

Outside of ITAC, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, including two grandchildren, and golfing.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
