Kim Thomas

VP, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION | PRINCIPAL

Kim Thomas has been a detail-oriented “numbers person” since she was a teenager in Oneonta, NY. After earning a B.S. in Accounting from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, she earned her CPA license in New York State and a few years later in Virginia.  After working in public accounting for three different firms, Kim founded and managed her own public accounting practice. Joining ITAC as a Financial Analyst in 2004, today she serves as VP of Finance and Administration.

Kim is a trusted leader, providing accurate and timely answers and reporting to our business and financial partners and ITAC’s senior management team. Kim also oversees our Employee Services area, lending her leadership skills to modernize our HR, Benefits, and Payroll processes.  With a no-nonsense approach to good stewardship and the management of ITAC’s greatest internal assets – our employees and our financial wellbeing, Kim supports ITAC’s rapidly growing engineering, construction, and specialty operations that requires agility and long-term strategies to meet business operations and financial needs. Kim also acts as the company’s controller and is responsible for leading and overseeing the business accounting team. She works closely with ITAC’s principals to ensure financial accuracy, transparency and accountability that significantly benefit the company. Consistent with ITAC’s values, Kim has the focused work ethic and utmost integrity that keeps ITAC’s business and financial management above reproach.

When Kim is not crunching the numbers with her team, she is active in her church, currently serving as the church treasurer. An avid reader, she is also very health conscious. Kim stays busy managing her full household with husband, Jim, and four active young adult children.
