Mac has 35 years of experience in electrical and controls engineering. In 1990, Mac become ITAC’s 20th employee and has served the company for 29 years. His responsibilities include engineering and design services, construction supervision and commissioning of electrical construction packages, including control systems, instrumentation and electrical distribution equipment. Mac collaborates with our clients’ engineering, operations and maintenance teams as well as installation contractors to deliver an economical installation that meets the project goals and is easy to operate and maintain long term.

Mac knows that the success of equipment installation and maintenance relies heavily on the accuracy and completeness of the design and documentation package. He has a passion for precision, attention to detail and performing the necessary field and document research to assure successful installations. The diversity of projects at ITAC have challenged Mac to develop new and efficient methods for project execution. As a mentor to ITAC’s younger generation, Mac strives to instill in these employees the pride of ownership as they drive projects from concept to completion.

Growing up on a small farm in rural Bedford, Virginia, Mac learned the value and reward of hard work, self-reliance and a job well done at an early age. This environment gave him a strong sense of appreciation for small town values, including self-respect, community pride and the joy of helping neighbors and others in need.
