VP, Business Development | Principal Shareholder
With over 27 years’ experience in the development of domestic and international industrial business, Steve Gordon’s wealth of knowledge in project development, engineering, construction management and field construction services make him an invaluable asset to ITAC and those we serve. He considers every opportunity a challenge to create a winning client experience and has been the front-end leader in developing and fostering trusting relationships with a diverse client base. A former president and plant manager of a biofuels manufacturing company, Steve has sat on the same side of the table as our clients. He keenly understands their needs and the pressure and challenges of a 24/7 operation – the kind of knowledge you can only earn through in-the-trenches experience.
Steve began his career at ITAC in 1994 as Business Development Manager and was promoted to VP of Business Development in 2008. His accomplishments include the development of numerous strategic partnerships with major corporations including Altria, Philip Morris USA, Philip Morris International, Alcoa, Advansix, Honeywell, Eastman, Dominion Energy, Duke Energy, WestRock, Ingevity, Georgia Pacific, IKEA Supporting Strategic and HSE Capital Growth.
In addition to his communication and technical skills, Steve has a passion for building tomorrow’s workforce. He is an active leader in ITAC’s annual Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Camps, which provide experiential learning opportunities for high school students and educate them on alternative career paths. Steve graduated from ECPI University in 1989 with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. When Steve is not building strong relationships and projects, you can find him burning rubber on his motorcycle with his wife, Melissa.
