This expansion project involved the construction of CTO and TOFA tanks, the demolition of an old column and the installation of a new column, and modifications to the hot oil vaporizer. Our innovative solutions minimized column 6 outage time for all outages. ITAC utilized an integrated, design-build approach to compress the project schedule, which was scoped and installed in under 11 months. This fast-track, heavy retrofit project had 155 men at peak manpower and zero reportable incidents over the course of 115,000+ total field man hours worked.
