Manufacturing Process Relocation
This multi-discipline project involved the relocation and modernization of the client’s manufacturing process. The client’s previous engineer/design-builder had poor change management and lost control of the project. The client shut the project down and selected ITAC to reevaluate/re-estimate the project and to serve as the CM/GC. ITAC managed multiple contractors throughout multiple outages, completed the demolition at the previous plant, executed startup and closeout, performed engineering and design for any new tasks and evaluations, and self-performed construction. With a strict change control process in place, ITAC completed the project 6 weeks early, saving the client $2.5 million. A critical factor in the ultimate success of this project was the tightly-integrated client-ITAC-contractor team.
