New Brewery Utilities Infrastructure

Innovative Solutions

ITAC designed and built a comprehensive utilities infrastructure for a new brewery in Richmond, VA including full scale engineering, construction and automation and controls capabilities. Included in this contract was the design and installation of the following systems: steam, condensate return, chilled water, city water, deaerator, sump, and cooling towers. The control system utilizes a ControlLogix processor, PanelView Plus HMI, and a ProSoft Modbus communication module relaying status from refrigeration machines. A Stratix 5700 switch is the centerpiece of the Ethernet/IP network infrastructure.

Assured Success

Despite the scope of work nearly doubling, we successfully started up the new utilities infrastructure on time and in accordance with our six-month deadline.

Client Testimonial

ITAC has been an amazing resource to Stone Brewing. Despite a continually growing scope of work, they demonstrated both breadth of knowledge and depth of skill to complete nearly $6M of utility infrastructure at the new brewery. The main reason we were so successful was because ITAC self-performed and managed nearly all aspects of the project.” - CJ Putnicki, Former Plant Manager, Stone Brewing Company
